Robot sex?  Is humanoid machinery clanking together in the garden kinetic sculpture; is it art? Is there a difference between clever and intelligent? Is that art? If everywhere synthetic people, does anyone need the real, garden variety ones?  Synthetic people, are the people that can’t survive in the garden without synthetic support systems. Pipes and wires and special central control systems like the ones in your house.

Despite what many professionals will tell you, culture is the simplest sort of thing to understand, either you make and own it yourself or you purchase it from someone else. That is the most important thing to remember about culture. Popular culture refers to culture produced by a population; by the people; by themselves; not by an entertainment corporation in London, New York, Paris or, and god help us, Beijing.
